Standards
This website has been developed for all persons including those with special needs. The most recent and universal accessibility standards have been used to allow for a better navigation experience, independent of the users limitations.
Our intention is to create a website which conforms to the WCAG 1.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0) guidelines and W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) specifications. We use HTML 4.01 and CSS standards. We are not responsible for content which by its nature is not accessible to certain users, for example, our videos. The website is optimized for Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer versions, a resolution of 1024x768 pixels, and character viewability of medium option.

Viewability
To properly view all pages, the user should verify that the following software has been installed: Acrobat Reader and Flash Player or Shockwave. If you do not have the software installed, a free copy can be downloaded from the following sites:

High Resolution Mode
To view the website in high resolution, follow these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Bar, Click on Internet Options, then click on Accessibility.
2. Choose the Ignore Specific Colors Selection box. Ignore Font Styles and Ignore Font Sizes and click OK.
Alternative Text
All images used on the MAESSA website have alternative text, which allows a description of the image for text reconditioning images (TTS System) and other supporting technologies.
